Historic Dutch Trade Fair

The city of Holland, Michigan is iconic with its historic windmill. During the weekend of May 6th and 7th, come see the 42nd demonstrate the soldierly arts during the Historic Trade Fair on Windmill island!

Training Day at Meridian Historical Village

June 01, 2019

Interested in joining? This is the perfect event! Come see the soldiers train for a weekend, and even participate in soldierly games! This short event takes place in Meridian Historical Village, near Lansing. For more information regarding the site, click the link below. 

Cass River Encampment

July 20, 2019

Located at the Frankenmuth River place shops, this event is sure to please. Come see the soldiers demonstrate their art, and when you need a break there are plenty of delicious places to eat! There are plenty of shops to peruse, and entertainers to listen to when you need a moment to rest your feet. 

St. Andrew's 168th Annual Highland Games

August 03, 2019

Located in Greenmead Historic Park in Livonia, MI, this event is put on by the St. Andrew's society of Detroit. This is a kilted haven, for all your Scottish needs! Tickets are necessary, so be sure to click on the link below. 

Colonial Kensington

August 10, 2019

Probably the most beautiful event on our event list, this event has a little something for everyone. Watch as the soldiers battle, listen to the musician sing, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Kids can learn to drill too... and if it gets too hot, the water park is right next door! 

Vermilion Creek Colonial Muster

October 05, 2019

Formally Muster on the Mill, Vermilion Creek is hosted by the Queen's Rangers and will be located at Peacock Road Family Farms in Laingsburg, MI. This is a Colonial Period (1750s-1780s) Living History Encampment that will include: historical demonstrations of period music, cooking, crafts, mock battle scenarios, artillery and much more! Fun and educational for the whole family!
